The Joshua's challenge

Joshua was ordained leader of Israel by God. He had a new call that is to bring the children of Israel to the Promised Land.
It was not an easy task. It was a huge challenge. The Canaanites were very numerous and very powerful. The very sight of them frightened the last generation and paralysed their faith to move forward and achieve their goal.
However, God encourage Joshua to be strong and of good courage. God promised His presence will be with Joshua and reassured him that as he walks in obedience that he will succeed and prosper all the days of his life.
God's word will enable, equip and empower Joshua to fight and win. While, he saw how Moses performed under God's leadership, he had to venture personally with God. Through this intimate relationship, God will be use Joshua in a unique way. Although, he was born a slave, had no special skill and had to lead people who were military poor and had a reputation for being stubborn and stiff necked, this relationship with God will make it possible for him to think big and achieve big!
As we make ourselves available in a personal manner to God, he will transform us and use us to be winners and achievers for his glory. With the assistance of the Holy Spirit who provides strength, wisdom, instruction, knowledge and correction empowering us in our calling; the blood of Jesus as our deliverance, security and peace; the Word of God as our foundation and anchor of life. Just as Joshua accepted the challenge with faith and confidence, we set ourselves to be obedient to God and declare that in 2007:
By God's grace, we will

• Start a new church in the Capital - PORT LOUIS
• Minister via the Mauritius Medias, that is Local TV, Radio and Newspaper
• Begin or be in association with a work in Rodrigues Island
• Plan to organize Businessman Meeting to reach out and train entrepreneurs about excellence and financial integrity.
• Host 4 Miracle and Healing Tent Crusade in Mt Choisy, Pointe aux Piments, Grand Bay, Pavillon.
• Bring teaching materials such as books, videos, DVDs and listening CDs to help educate and enlighten believers
• Continue our faithful support and generosity to donate food and school materials to orphanages and the needy on this island as well as reach out to Rodrigues Island and Madagascar.
• Sponsor a child in the S.O.S Orphanage for his/her Cambridge School Certificate examination.
